My name is Sue Allan and I am the Head Teacher Ribblesdale Nursery School in Clitheroe. I have been a qualified teacher for over thirty years and have had the opportunity to work with children in Nursery Schools and Primary Schools up to the age of 11.  I have specialised in the Early Years and I believe that all children deserve the very best opportunities and education from the start. I have been able to develop professionally throughout my career and I have been inspired by excellent early years practise from other leading Nursery schools in Britain but also abroad. On a personal note I have two children of my own, and as a parent I understand how important it is to know they are attending a school where they are valued as individuals and are inspired to learn and grow.
