Admission Arrangements for Ribblesdale Nursery School

Ribblesdale Nursery School is a Lancashire County Council maintained community Nursery School providing high quality early years education for three and four year old children.

We have intakes in January, April and September so no child is waiting too long to begin this exciting journey. Your child is eligible after the term after their third birthday. 

We offer either five mornings or five afternoons for the free 15 hours Early Years Funding, or we can offer a small number of 2.5 days with lunch at an additional cost.

A combination of both sessions for three and four year old's who are eligible for the Free 30 hour Funding can be offered. You can use these hours in combination with Cascades, either 30 hours taken term time only or 22 hours spread across 51 weeks. This means you can use your 30 hours for wrap around care. All we ask is that the children take their hours within our session times so their learning is not disrupted. We will discuss further options of accessing our school on request. 

Morning sessions are 8.45am to 11.45am

Afternoon sessions are 12.45pm to 3.45pm

Please do not worry if the times clash with Primary School drop off and pick up as we are able to have some flexibility with drop off and pick up.

To apply for a 15 hour place or a 30 hour Nursery School place please return a completed application form and a parental agreement form with a document to prove your child's birth date e.g. an original birth certificate to reception.

We are happy to accept early applications at our popular Nursery School. 

Application forms are available to print below or collect at our reception. We are happy to assist with the forms. 

Nursery School places are usually offered 4-6 months prior to the term your child is due to start.
